Orange is the new black [Full Story]
The beach has always had this effect on me — the sun, the salt, the way the ocean makes everything feel permissible.
That afternoon in April, I started with the orange bikini fully on, toes in the sand, mind somewhere else entirely. But the longer I lay there, the more the heat convinced me that clothes were... optional.
First the bottoms came off — just resting on my hip like a prop, while people walked past at a distance, none the wiser. Then the top, twisted down until the breast was exposed, the nipple catching the light. I stretched the bikini to its limit, laughing at how little fabric it actually was.
By golden hour, I was sun-worshipping with nothing between me and the warmth but air. The distant beachgoers became scenery, not concern. I was just another body on the sand, except... completely undressed.
When it was time to leave, I slipped the white cover-up back on, the clasp of my necklace clicking shut — back to civilian clothes, as if the afternoon hadn't happened at all. But the sand on my skin knew better.
Twelve frames. One afternoon. The bikini was a suggestion. The sun was the instruction.
