Private Sauna in Kazakhstan

Our guided tour ended in Almaty, Kazakhstan. After that we were on our own for the rest of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan! Almaty is an ancient city that used to be the capital of Kazakhstan, with lots of cool museums and Soviet era buildings. One of the cool things about Kazakhstan is that since they have such cold winters, they have a healthy sauna culture. We were able to rent a private area with a Finnish sauna, a cold plunge pool, a Turkish bath area, and a relaxation area with massage chairs. It was really affordable, and such a cool idea for hanging out with friends. Hopefully it'll catch on more here in the USA!
